According to the report of the Cavite Province in 2018, the City of General Trias ranked number two in the top ten municipalities/cities in the number of Dengue Fever cases, and Barangay San Francisco ranked third in the city of General Trias. Based on the data, there is a need to implement a project to combat the increasing number of cases in the province.

 

Therefore, the Supreme Student Government of San Francisco Annex provided a project that will definitely support the City Health Office program Serbisyong 4:00 O’Clock Habit para Deng-Get Out sa Gentri. Project I-Clean offers in-depth knowledge and precautionary measures to avoid dengue cases in the school and community.

 

There is a monthly clean and green project within the school premises, an invitation clean up drive in the barangay, and the private sector like Bria Homes and tree planting within the community to make sure that dengue cases will not increase. Further dissemination of information is highly regarded through seminar workshops and the selection of a Little Dengue Brigade as ambassadors in implementing the different programs in dengue awareness. Recently, the City Health Office organized a seminar about dengue awareness and it was re-echoed by the Supreme Student Government and participated in by all classroom and club officers.
